"The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." Those words were given new life when the Supreme Court announced they had come to a decision regarding the District of Columbia vs. Heller case in the first high court voice on central gun control issuses for two centuries. In a five to four ruling, the court reaffirmed an individual's right to bear arms, especially in the home for self defense. It struck down the DC handgun ban, and will probably have similar effects for bans in other cities.

I thought of you and your fam when I heard this today! Praise the Lord! :) I can't wait to hang out this week!!!!
ps, a 14 yr old flushed her newborn at school and she was just arrested and charged with capitol murder!!! I know I shouldn't be this happy, but still... JUSTICE! AND it shows that Texas still values infant life!!! :) (she can't get the death penalty, but she might be charged as an adult so she could get life)
I saw Juno yesterday, and she thinks about getting an abortion, but decides not to so yea!!! not the best movie, but it yeah, anyway!
ps, have you heard of joe horn? if not ask me and ill catch you up... it drives me crazy and I am sure it will drive you crazy too!
This is great. We should thank God every day for Scalia, Thomas, Alito, and Roberts and remember them in our prayers. The vote was exactly as we all knew it would be with Kennedy as the fence-sitter. Thank God he did not fall off on the left this time. It's a shame it could not be more far-reaching, but let's take what we can get and pray for this to be the trend.
On a completely unrelated note, just a reminder that the Church Ladies Trip to the Gun Range is tentatively scheduled for late September!
