Wow...August was a post filled month.
Well, I'm here to let you know that our trip is going well. I haven't tried to slalom yet cause the water has been choppy, but it should calm tomorrow.

One little punctuation correction - you should hyphenate post-filled. Did you mean to say "y'all all". That would be both repetitive and redundant.
